Michelle is the co-founder of SKIRT, a networking group for women. She was President of the Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco in 2007 and currently serves on the endowment committee.  In 2008 she co-authored and published the book SKIRTworking:  How to Network Using SKIRT.  Over the years she has been an FWA scholarship recipient mentor and supported several Bay Area women’s organizations both financially and through volunteer work.  In 2009 she was honored as a “Woman in Action” by the non-profit organization Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment in San Francisco.

Additionally, Christina studies yoga and regularly attends workshops learning post rehabilitation and healing modalities. Committed to her healing and spiritual path she enjoys helping others find their path to wellness, love and joy of their body.

In addition to helping her clients make their own personal statement on paper, Stacey has consulted with dozens of companies to bring their products to market, expand their offerings and fine-tune their brand. She is currently planning the development launch of her own custom line.

MIND

Kari with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, has clinical knowledge and experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, substance abuse, grief and loss and crisis intervention and eight years of clinical experience counseling numerous individuals, couples and groups. Her knowledge and practice focuses on helping others remain healthy both physically and emotionally.  On a larger scale, Kari has seven years of managing people and grant projects.  Kari has learned to view her clients and their concerns, as not separate issues, but as people who function in the environment as a whole so that change can more effectively take place.    

BODY

A love for and commitment to fitness is a significant part of Kari’s life, who has more than 10 years experience as a certified group fitness instructor.  She has consistently shared her knowledge of physical and emotional fitness, healthy eating, and creating a healthy lifestyle with clients, colleagues, friends, and family.  Her love for helping others create healthy lifestyles and balancing physical and emotional health is the basis for her own consulting company that focuses on overall well-being.   

HOME

The final element to Kari's work involves redesigning people's homes using things that are already in the home.  Kari incorporates feng shui principles into her redesign. Karpani consulting also will help you organize or de-clutter your space to create that feeling that has been "missing."  Since where we live affects our feelings of security, happiness and self-esteem, providing the redesign services is a natural fit.  Kari has been practicing redesign for nearly 15 years with family and friends. 

Michelle is a real estate all-rounder, adding tremendous value to the service that she provides to her clients.  Her seven years’ experience in the San Francisco real estate market is augmented by 2 years prior experience in real estate finance and additionally from serving as President of two Condominium Homeowners Associations.   Also a talented and accomplished photographer, Michelle ran her own photography business in New York City, prior to moving to the Bay Area.  Among her photography clients were celebrities such as Frankie Muniz, Julia Styles, Tami Michaels and the alternative rock band Dishwalla.  Her portfolio demonstrates a keen eye for art direction and capturing the full essence of her subject matter - a skill that is profoundly evident when conveying the most important features of a home in the marketing process.

Michelle resides in San Francisco’s South Beach historic district in a converted warehouse loft that was once a warehouse for General Electric.  Michelle continues to enjoy photography as a pastime and spending time with her brother’s Michael and Christopher Balog and sister- in- law, Dr. Tera Balog.  Michelle has a degree in film production and photography from the University of Southern California, School of Cinema Television.  She is one of the founding members of a networking group called SKIRT™ (Sharing Knowledge Information and Resources Together) (www.skirtsnetwork.net) and is co-author on a book called “SKIRTWorking, How to Network Using SKIRT™”© (www.skirtworking.com) which was launched on Amazon.com on September 10, 2008.  The book made it that day to their best seller list and was number 1 in the Women in Business category.  Michelle is also a member of the Real Estate Leadership Auxiliary Council for EARN (www.sfearn.org) in San Francisco and a percentage of her sales commissions will be donated to EARN in 2010.  Michelle was recently a delegate for the SF City Trip and lobbied and represented San Francisco homeowner’s interests in Washington, DC in March of 2009.  www.sfchamber.com  and appears regularly on KRON 4 News as a networking or “SKIRKworking” expert.

At the outset of structuring her business, Brittany had a vision to change what a personal chef could be.  She launched Urban Organics in hopes of bringing more specialized attention to each client by catering to a variety of needs, ensuring each client eats with the freshest ingredients and the highest quality of preparation.  Her services include, but are not limited to, weekly or bi-weekly meal preparation, dinner parties, business gatherings, and nutritional focus.  Her philosophy in food focuses on eating locally and seasonally which is accomplished by shopping at San Francisco's farmers markets.  She understands and takes advantage of the food that Northern California farms can bring to our diets.
