Soon afterwards, Samantha opened her own agency, Strickler Insurance Agency, with her father Michael. Commercial risks have become Samantha’s main focus however she has the markets to sell any major property/casualty product as well as health life and disability insurance. Her clients range from small family businesses to large real estate developers.

Samantha is currently studying for her CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) accreditation and periodically teaches pre-licensing courses and continuing education for insurance. She also helps to manage her 2 office locations, Los Angeles and San Francisco.  Currently Samantha is licensed to transact business in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas,  Florida, and Ohio.

Since childhood, Rachael’s underlying passion was for the care and protection of animals. Finding dozens of abandoned and/or stray animals and placing them in loving homes over the years, encouraged her to appreciate and support respected organizations such as PETA, the Humane Society of the United States, Alley Cat Allies, SPCA of Los Angeles, International Animal Rescue, Tiger Haven, Northeast Animal Shelter, In Defense of Animals, and Farm Sanctuary. The growing need for caring individuals who could be trusted to enter a home and provide love and care for pets inspired Rachael to retire from retail management and establish a predominant business in the field of professional pet care and house-sitting services.

Feathers and Fur was established in 2004.

The moment you look at her portfolio you know she has produced printed projects for some heavy hitters. Weather the job is smaller in scope or larger; you can see and feel the quality immediately. An eye for quality developed as a child when her mother taught her how to develop professional photo film in their home darkroom. The photographic industry led naturally to the printing industry for Cynthia.

Cynthia’s education includes three Associates’ of Arts degrees and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computers and Printing Technology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) one of the top two school in her field. Her graduate level work at Arizona State University focused on Industrial Technology Management and Supervision as applied to the printing industry.

Her work is published and she has spoken nationally on environmental issues as they relate to the printing industry.

Her most engaging experience comes from the detailed coordination of implementing printing projects for some of the most prestigious design firms and national companies. Those companies include Pacific Care, St. Johns Hospital, Raytheon, PhD and many others. Some of her more current clients are Loyola Marymount University, Kwajalein Range Services, National Gym Supply, Escott Associates, UCLA, J2 Global Communications and many others.
